Signing and inaugurating ceremony of technical cooperation between Huazhong Agricultural University and Sunhy held successfully

On June 16, 2022, the signing ceremony of technical cooperation between Huazhong Agricultural University and Wuhan Sunhy Biology Co., Ltd. and the opening ceremony of the Joint Laboratory of Micro-Ecological Agent were held in the lecture hall on the third floor of Wuhan Hi-tech Agri. Mr. Zhan Zhichun, Chairman of Sunhy, delivered a speech first. Sunhy has established a joint laboratory of feed enzyme biotechnology with Academician Yao Bin of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, a future food joint research and development studio with Academician Chen Jian of Jiangnan University, and a joint research and development studio of animal nutrition and application with Academician Li Defa. Today, it has established the laboratory of micro-ecological agent with Professor Liang Yunxiang of Huazhong Agricultural University, forming the whole research and development chain of Sunhy from molecular biology, bioengineering technology, animal nutrition technology, and future food nutrition technology, and full-scenario application from enzyme preparation to microbial preparation in agriculture and animal husbandry industry, which is an important milestone of historical significance for the technology development of Sunhy.

Subsequently, Professor Liang Yunxiang of Huazhong Agricultural University and President Wu Xuejun of Sunhy signed a technical strategic cooperation agreement, which stipulates that: Sunhy and professor Liang Yunxiang’s team of Huazhong Agricultural University set up a joint development laboratory to comprehensively carry out research and development cooperation of microbial new varieties and new technologies. The cooperation period is 10 years, and the basic operating cost is 20 million yuan.
Then, Secretary Gao Chi, First-level Inspector Li Shunqing, Director Wang Yuzhen, Director Zhao Feng, Professor Liang Yunxiang, Minister Zhang Jinzhou, Secretary Chen Chunming, Chairman Gao Shang, Chairman Zhan Zhichun, President Wu Xuejun jointly unveiled the laboratory.
Professor Liang Yunxiang said that he is very honored to cooperate with Sunhy to carry out the research and development of microbiology and new varieties. Sunhy has established a world-standard production base for microecological agents. In the future, we will work with Sunhy to overcome technical difficulties. We hope that with the joint efforts of both sides in ten years, we can lead the R&D and production of microecological agents to the international advanced level and contribute to the health of human beings and animals.
Director Wang Yuzhen, Director Li Shouwen, first-level inspector Li Shunqing and Secretary Gao Chi made speeches respectively, congratulating Sunhy and Huazhong Agricultural University, and pointing out that the deep cooperation between universities and enterprises is of strategic significance to the development of microbiology. Director Li Shouwen said that joint scientific and technological research and development of Sunhy and Huazhong Agricultural University is a new model of deep cooperation between universities and enterprises, which will be conducive to the innovation and development of biological industry in the Optics Valley.
